Benefits for the Operations Manager

As part of our company, we believe in all our employees and offer the opportunity for advancement.  We are happy to offer our Operations Manager a competitive salary plus 5 days of PTO after 1 year of employment. We also provide 10 days of PTO after 3 years of employment. In addition, we offer up to $4,000 in bonuses in the first year and part of your relocation expenses. We offer a starting base pay of $65,000 + commission. Earn up to $120,000 first year pending performance.

A Day in the Life of an Operations Manager

The Operations Manager positions is responsible for making sure that technicians are fully trained to company standards.  The Operations Manager supervises all technicians in company policies and procedures.  The OM assures that personnel are following OSHA safety standards and team members are safety conscious.  They are a leader and a motivator for the technicians, and must be willing to lead by example. The OM is responsible for reporting procedures and paperwork.  They protect the company's assets by daily monitoring of trucks, tools and inventory. The OM works with the other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely completion of projects.  First year projections for the OM is field time up to 75% and in office 25% of the time.  They assist other team members as needed on the job site to ensure all obligations are met.   

What you Need to be Qualified for the Operations Manager Position

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the commercial plumbing industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Basic computer skills and digital dispatch and invoicing
  • Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
